Third shoot write up
Today I went to Kielder Water, which was good as I went
there a lot when I was younger with school, scouts and on camping trips with
the family. Although it was nice to be there because of the past, in the
present it was extremely windy which caused a couple of the trees to be blown
down so I didn’t want to spend a great deal of time there.
Again I tried some image stitching which I thought turned
out quite well again. For the first image, I ended up taking 8 images, so I
started by focusing straight down below me and ending up almost looking
straight up.
Because of the conditions I only got a couple of images
however I think the two of them work quite well together due to the tones and
colour range.
I was hoping to get a variety of different images of the reservoir
however the weather had other ideas. So for my next shoot I will probably try
and get to a range of different reservoirs around the Lake District area.
