These
photos were taken of the industry surrounding seal sands.
I’m
pretty happy with the top five images but very happy with the top image. I’ve
been practicing image stiching for a while now and this is one the better
efforts I’ve created. I think the image helps to put a scale to how we cut
through the landscape which is represented by the pipes which travel through
the grassy area. I think the the fact the pipes converge at a single point on
the image creating an arrow or trianlge means the image could be interpreted in
many different ways, not just that pipes are defacing the land as I’ve said
above but also arrows pointing to the
factory in the background putting emphais on the industry.
While at seal sands I took a couple of images of the pylons. I’ve always liked pylons for some reason and I thought this would be a good way of showing how they and as a result we, spread across every horizon which is best depicted in the first of the pylon images.
